Alt—Out is a queer venue discovery app for New York City. Bars, clubs, piano bars, saunas, bookshops, community centers, theaters and the rooms that throw the city’s queer nights, from the West Village to Ridgewood to the Pines on Fire Island.

Every place is researched and checked before it goes on the map. If we can’t confirm a place is still operating, it comes off. If we’re not sure about something, we say so.
